Your Musical Taste Shows And Affects Your Personality And Behavior

Many people regularly talk about how music affects the personality and lifestyle of its listeners, ranging from friendly discussions between parents and their kids, to congress lobbying to ban certain kinds of music or to at least label and restrict them. For the most part, people have dismissed such claims as paranoia at best, and ludicrous at worst, stating that while genres of music may have immediate effects while being listened to, it does not dictate people’s personality and thinking. But as it turns out, recent studies have shown that musical preference may show the listener’s personality, and in turn, affect the personality of a person as well.

A reflection of the mind

One such study from the University of Cambridge showed a method of determining how people think and act based on the music they like to listen to. The study targeted over 4,000 listeners, and used a Facebook personality test app to give the participants a set of questions to determine specific personality traits. After a set period of time, the participants yet again received another questionnaire, this time with 15-second song snippets from 50 songs that represented up to 26 different genres of music, to see how they’d react and what kind of music they’d prefer. The results of both tests were then matched to see if there are patterns and correlations to personalities and music preferences.

As it turned out, there were correlations. Mellow music listeners, like R&B and slow jazz, exhibit more empathy, while rock, hip-hop, and house music listeners are more systematic and structural in thought. In addition, people on the more empathic side preferred music with less energy and focus more on negative and heavy emotions like depression, while the systematic side reveled in positive energy and emotions, like happiness and strength.

Basically, people who prefer slower, more smooth music, are more emotional, while people who prefer faster, more energetic music are more logical and structural, according to the study.
But while music may be a reflection of one’s personality and thinking, can it really affect one’s personality and thinking as well?

Requiem Mass in D Minor, one of the most famous works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
is an example of classical music that can influence behavior.

Music’s influence

Remember how lullabies can make babies (and even adults) fall asleep, and how a school’s theme song in a sporting event can just lift your heart up and get you ready for battle? Those are examples of music affecting one’s emotions. This, we already know. But can music truly, in the long run, affect someone’s personality and behavior?

The answer is YES.

Brainwave entertainment like Brainwave Power Music’s binaural beats and isochronic tones tracks do this regularly. But aside from this, common genres of music are also known to affect the personality regularly, due to their beat, the tones the use, and the overall composition of the pieces of music. And just like the study we talked about above, many studies in the past have also shown this, and have even come up with a list of what certain genres of music do for the person’s mind and personality. Here are a few examples, in addition to the ones listed earlier.

1.)    Ambient noise promotes creativity – while this is not specifically a genre of music, many musical pieces, including binaural beats tracks, have ambient noises. It was discovered that moderate volume ambient noise greatly promotes creative thinking and abstract processing. Too loud however, and the brain is impaired and overwhelmed with the auditory information. Listening to this regularly will greatly improve creativity even without musical assistance.

2.)    Worship music alleviates emotional anxieties – sadness, depression, and a constantly negative personality can be alleviated by worship-music. Studies have shown that people who attend fellowships and engage in the listening and singing of worship music have improved levels of happiness and those with anxiety problems have felt improvements in their own personal feelings, after consistently attending and listening to the songs.

3.)    Rock music improves personal motivation – the high energy pace of rock music is not only preferred by systematic people, as indicated above, it also helps in one’s own personal motivation. Constantly listening to rock music greatly strengthens the listener’s emotional and psychological resolve and can help motivate them on a regular basis. Alternatively, people who prefer other equally energetic genres  like hiphop and dance music can also feel the same motivation, as long as it keeps up with a certain tempo and intensity.

The dark side of this is that lyrics can greatly influence the listener as well. Songs with negative lyrics or messages, when constantly listened to, becomes ingrained in a person’s psyche and can be subconsciously recalled. So it is also important to make sure lyrics are taken into consideration when listening to songs.

One good way to ensure you get the necessary results is to listen to music tracks that are specifically designed to aid your mind and brain, like our binaural beats and isochronic tones tracks. For example, this binaural beats playlist for happiness and love, that we have prepared especially for our fans.

The Heart’s Ocean is a collection of Brainwave Power Music's original music therapy tracks that all relate to the power of the heart, in its deepest emotional or physical or spiritual aspects. The intention in creating these tracks range from desires to self-healing, to self-loving and acceptance, behavioral change and the vast meanings of what Love truly is.

How We Create A Binaural Beats & Isochronic Tones Music Track

We at Brainwave Power Music are dedicated to creating binaural beats tracks that will be of great benefit to anyone who listens to them. Many people often wonder how we make our tracks, and when we get asked this by our family and friends, the first thing we say is that we don’t just make the tracks, we feel them as we create and compose them. We let the inner voice’s influence inspire us in creating these tracks; after all, music needs inspiration to truly be effective, as opposed to simply letting a machine manufacture random tones based on cold computer formulae.
Here is a general idea of how our composers, all of whom are lucid dreamers and followers of the principles of meditation and self-realization, create our tracks that we share to everyone.

1.)    Inspiration – the composer listens from within which kind of track they feel they want to create, whether it’s for meditation, lucid dreaming, astral projection, or health and well-being of the physical, mental, or spiritual nature.

Oftentimes the inspiration comes from what the composers feel, and we encourage that, so as to make the track much more natural and inspired. For instance, a composer may feel the need to deal with depression due to an experience or a memory and create an emotional health track, or feel the need to connect with their faith and create a spiritual health track.

Sometimes, our themes are inspired by the fans’ and supporters’ suggestions, telling us what could help them or what they need to help them go through something they are experiencing in this current reality.

Either way, inspiration plays a huge part in our creation process.

2.)    Frequency mixing – once the composer is inspired and a kind of track is decided upon, the next step involves finding the proper frequency mix using binaural beats and isochronic tones. Each frequency level from the Delta, Beta, Alpha, Gamma brainwave levels that have so far been researched has its own connection to a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual state of a person. You can find out more about brainwave patterns in our previous blog posts.

This is why, while each track is conceptualized through inspiration, it takes great skill and careful thought to actually arrange the track, in order to provide the listener with the right type of targeted results.

3.)    Composing the music – after the beats have been established, the composer creates the music. It starts with finding the base chord key or musical note for each type of beats track.  We at Brainwave Power Music ensure that each music composition is uniquely created, since each is based on that single base chord note. This way, the music will not have dissonant chords that are huge discomforts to such music therapy compositions and their purposes. As well, the music also compliments the binaural beats and isochronic tones, and do not clash when listened to.

4.)    Marrying the two – once both the binaural track and music track are finished, we marry the two in such a way that specific time marks throughout the track will elevate and push the listener into different states of being, but still within the chosen theme-category. All throughout, there will be specially added sound elements, like bells or nature sounds or other ambient sounds that are placed carefully to both enhance the track and keep the listener’s comfort at the desired level. The composer takes great care to make sure that the inspiration given by their inner voice, and their own personal creativity and love, are poured into this track.

This way, the end result is not just a binaural beat or brainwave entertainment sound file. It is a musical creation that is both sound therapy AND music therapy combined.

Once the final composition is finished, it is tested on headphones, surround sound speakers, and other ways of listening to ensure the quality desired goes through.

5.)    Adding the final visual touch – before we release the track on our various platforms, we finish it off by creating a fractal image that compliments the track itself. Specific colors from a color therapy guideline are chosen and used in the fractal image creation, which in itself is meant to evoke various thoughts and emotions at a simple glance. Colors and lines and shapes have their own meanings and influential powers on the human mind, and this is why we also consider this image on the final release.

Once these steps are completed, we release the track on our platforms for everyone to enjoy. The creation process from inspiration to composition to finalization is all done through the inner voice’s influence and the composer’s creativity and spirit, making sure that all elements are reflected in the final track. In addition, the composer keeps the welfare of listeners from all over the world in mind; creativity is not made just for the Self, but mainly for Others. Because that is what Brainwave Power Music is all about: taking care of our listeners.

An example of this is one of our creations, Gentle Vibrations – Stress Relief Relaxation Music With Binaural Beats:

Relieve yourself from stress, tension and anxiety with Gentle Vibrations using Alpha binaural beat frequencies, concentrating on the Earth's Resonance of 7.83Hz, which promotes improvement to stress tolerance. As the alpha waves continue to flow between 8Hz to 12Hz, it will provide you with light relaxation, positive thinking, creative problem solving, mood elevation, stress reduction and leaving you in a very deeply relaxed mindset. With a carrier frequency of 136.1Hz, which is also called the Sun Frequency, this makes the music track also applicable to be used before sleeping or during meditation sessions for overall balance, harmony and centering.

Harvard Scientists Found Something Surprising About People Who Meditate

Did you know?

Science found new studies to prove the benefits of meditation to people. Yes, it’s true! Every day a new study is being released proving more and more of its great effects to humankind.

Harvard scientists discover that meditation is so powerful it can change the physiology of human’s brain, resulting in progressive changes like a decrease in anxiety and depression.

Scientists gathered 24 participants that have no experience in meditation within an eight week program on best practices for “mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR)”.  The program consisted of 2.5 hour sessions each week where participants learned “body scanning, sitting meditation, walking meditation and mindful stretching movements”. On the other hand, scientists also requested each participant to perform at least 45 minutes of boot camp and let them undergo a series of psychological evaluations to examine their anxiety and stress levels before and after the MBSR program.

These results were compared to a control group who went through no meditation training at all during the eight weeks.

Through these tests, scientists demonstrated the comparison where meditation made parts of the brain corresponding to emotion and perception thicker that eventually resulted in a significant after-training reduction of several psychological indices related to worries, anxieties, depression and alexithymia.

In this study, meditation has a very big factor to make more people emotionally accustomed and less depressed. This is really a good argument to spend time quietly reflecting every single day.

Meditation and other forms of relaxation and mindfulness not only can change our immediate state of mind correspondingly, but can also control the stress levels and ability to emotionally relate to ourselves and towards others. Mindfulness meditation has also been shown to help people with social anxiety disorder and proven benefits in stress reduction.

Meditating 20 minutes, twice daily will help you stay calmer, relieves anxiety, make better choices, and connect to a deeper place within. So, try our Meditation Music : Amazing Brain Sound Dopamin Booster Pineal Gland Activation video to fully satisfy your senses.

10 Things People Who Love Their Lives Do Differently

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

-Mahatma Gandhi

Are you happy with your life now? Are you happy of what you are now? Are you contented of what you have right now? These are heavy questions that we need to indulge deeply in ourselves. There are some people living their lives differently but they are happy. You have read it right, YES! They are HAPPY! They are living differently in a good manner. Some people are happier than others but it doesn’t mean they don’t have problems or difficulties, what they did are they changed their attitude and choose to be happy. Leave the past behind and courageously embrace the future ahead and aim for success. Success builds more success in future.

Having trouble loving yourself and facing problems in your life? Read these tips and it will surely change your perspective.

Stop trying to impress other people. The fear of social judgment wears many masks: shame, shyness, etiquette, perfectionism, and etc. Whatever it is, its effect is to limit, to pressure, to tighten. Why are we so concerned about what others think of us? Fear of social judgment also makes people think small. Achieving anything big is going to annoy some people, who will try to discourage you. If you encounter this type of people, don’t let them get in your way! Don’t pretend, instead, choose to be honest.

Do what you want and believe in yourself. Think of the things you want to do and don’t be afraid to do it but not because you think you have to do it. Start each day with positive energy and finish your day with lots of experience.

Love your friends but don’t rely on them. Be thankful for your friends who accepts and helps you. Appreciate each person you have in your life. You inspire each other’s lives. But don’t wait nor ask your friends to do something for you. Take the responsibility in yourself. Accept help or support from them but don’t demand. Live your life by your own. Don’t be too dependent to your friends, it may lead you to disappointments and sometimes it can cause misunderstandings or worst it ruins friendship.

Take the best in the moment and build your futureLive in the moment with no regrets about past or worries about future. Take each mistake as a lesson and grow through them. Build your future, dream big and take real action to achieve the goals. Don’t see success and failure as black and white. Happy people know that there is really no such thing as a complete failure even when things don’t go according to plan. Appreciate the opportunity for self-growth, the experience gained and the lessons learned.

Be specific but not close-minded. You have to understand what you are really seeking through attaining goals is a success, and success can come to you in many different ways. You may set on a particular career, partner or lifestyle, but be also an open-minded enough to spot other opportunities that comes your way which would provide the same feeling of fulfillment, just in an unpredicted manner.

Speak about positive things and stand your own principle. Learn to balance your energy and time. What to remember and how to fill the given day. Choose to see the positive things and speak about them. If you have nothing to say, give your smile to everyone and be thankful. Live your life by whatever philosophy you wish as long as you found truths that satisfy you but don’t be judgmental.

Discover something new each day. Whatever you have achieved, always remember that there are no borders or limits in the universe, in yourself and in your own life. Take a break and discover something new to reveal the beauty within and share it with others. Take time to travel, try new food or meet people. Treasure those beautiful moments and enrich your soul.

Enjoy the nature and be creative. Search your own melody, harmony, and inner peace. Spend time in nature to renew inner balance and get some inspiration. Be creative to discover your potential and don’t be afraid to use it creatively. Feel the touch of the wind, nourish the sunshine and listen to the birds singing. Let nature nurture your soul in freedom and harmony.

Take risks and don’t be afraid to be different. Don’t be afraid from failures, instead brighten up yourself and be cheerful in every situation. There is no room for wasting or missing opportunities. Just take it, live it and learn from it. Choose to be yourself all time even if somebody cannot understand you. Be brave enough to be unique and stop hiding and wear masks. Happy people have hopes, dreams and goals.

Don’t try to change others, instead learn to deal with them appropriately. Letting people be has not always come easy, and typically the problem reveals when certain expectations are not seen. Maybe expectations are really the problem. While it is ideal to be treated in a preferable way, everyone handles life differently.

As you get unstuck with your goals and dreams, and expanding your happiness, learn more and listen to our Beauty, Love & Harmony Alpha Waves Binaural Beats & Meditation video.

SOUND THERAPY: Taking a Holistic Approach to Life

Most ancient civilizations used the powerful benefit of sound and vibration. They composed music based on the perfect mathematical proportions that can be found in the construction of many sacred temples, space and time. You can tune yourself to the perfect rhythm by opening your inner ear to the healing music. It also cures sicknesses. In Egypt, when priests sing hymns to the Gods they sing the seven vowels in due succession and the sound has such euphony that men listen to it instead of the flute and the lyre. The Egyptians believed that vowel sounds were sacred, so much so that their written hieroglyphic language contains no vowels. We can, therefore, assume that vowel sound mantra carried a powerful connotation for their priests.

In modern times, we are aware that the hypotenuse of such a triangle is a vital concept relating directly to the question of harmony. And anything we say about harmony is associated first and foremost with sound. This innate frequency can be therapeutic. It is so called sound therapy. It can be described as the frequency of vibration that is most natural to a specific organ or system such as the heart, liver or lungs. All cells radiate sound as a consequence of their metabolic processes. There is an interaction between the cells own sounds and those imposed by the environment, including those applied by sound healing devices.
High frequency sounds trigger the brain and affect cognitive functions such as thinking, spatial perception and memory. Listening to these sounds increases our attentiveness and concentration.

Sound can set a mood. In other words, some sounds simply make us feel better than others. Whether our conscious minds are paying attention or not, our bodies take their cues from these sounds and rhythms, knowing when to get energized and when to slow down. According to research, sound can also help us reduce stress, create a deep sense of well-being and even promote healing.

Holistic medicine nurtures a cooperative relationship among all those involved, leading towards optimal attainment of the physical, mental emotional, social and spiritual aspects of health. Taking a holistic approach involves seeking the tools that will help us attract our desires and find personal power.

Sound therapy is definitely the cutting edge of healing like yoga and meditation. The fact is, we are already using sound therapy in our life. So even if you’re not interested in spending in a singing bowl, sound healing is still available to you. Go for a walk and enjoy nature’s own healing harmonies or better yet close your eyes, relax and listen to this amazing binaural beat pure tone from us.

HOW SELF HEALING CAN REDUCE YOUR STRESS AND ANXIETY

A lot of stress and anxiety comes from a lot of runaway thoughts due to a given problem, or a collective of them, be it at home or the office or wherever. And how does one effectively relieve stress and anxiety? Are all these all in your head? How will you cope? Did you know that you can use your mind to fully utilize your innate healing power?

Tap the power of self-healing. You are born with a powerful ability to heal.

Every day we always experience different circumstances that will either help us motivate our being or the other way around due to a stressful day. If your day is full pleasure and excitement, you have all the reason to be thankful because it will add more meaning to your life and the reason to live. But if your day is the other way around, full of anxiety and stress, well, let me tell you this. It’s time for you to take a deep breath and relax, because at the end of the day you are responsible of your own actions, actions that will either benefit your health or turn it for the worst ruin — your health that can lead to sickness.

According to Jay Winner, MD, author of Take the Anxiety Out of Your Life and director of the Stress Management Program for Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara, California, anxiety doesn't only make us feel awful emotionally, it can also exacerbate just about any health condition you can think of.

Studies have found many health problems connected to anxiety. It can worsen or increase the risk of conditions like heart diseases, Alzheimer’s disease, gastrointestinal problems, depression, obesity, headaches, diabetes and asthma. Anxiety is somehow a part of our daily routine and we can’t deny it nor avoid it. There are many reasons why we get stressed. It could be your boss, work load, office mates, clients, deadlines, overdue loans, mortgage, etc. But you have to remember the reasons why we work so hard. And that is to earn money for our family and future plans. That's just one of the reasons why we continue to strive and do what we do on a daily basis. Work hard and hope for a better tomorrow.

Here are some aid tips that can help reduce your anxiety and lower your health risks.

1. Learn how to manage life’s unavoidable stresses. Inhale and exhale, take a deep breathe, relax once and a while and think of the reasons for your existence.
2. Live one day at a time and eat healthy food.

3. Keep calm and do some exercises and focus on the positive side.

4. Listen to inspirational songs and music that can help boost your being and can help you motivate to do well remember music can change your mood.

5. Look at that time as an opportunity and be thankful for the opportunity to work and to live.

6. Think about the things for which you’re grateful - that you have family and friends that you can see and talk to.

7. Take some time to meditate and practice sound therapy

How to Prepare for an Out of Body Experience

Astral Projection or O.B.E.'s (Out of Body Experience) is one of the most mysterious, intriguing and unexplainable things that we can ever personally experience. It has also been a subject of debate regarding its validity or fallacy, as Science still tries to prove if it is real or just a manifestation of our imagination. But it has been experienced by many people over the centuries. It has been mentioned in the Bible, in Islamic Mysticism, written records from Ancient Egypt, the Taoists from China, in Hindu scriptures, and Buddhists and Yogis have held their belief in this, too. Forms of Meditation have been highly connected in experiencing astral travel, and to this day, many have claimed to have walked the astral planes.

When I was a child, I did not know I had experienced this. I had thought it was just a dream. A dream that felt too real and surreal at the same time. I was floating away from my own body and saw the roof our house. I saw the lighted city whiz by and eventually the Earth. I kept on floating farther away until the stars and other celestial satellites zoomed out of view. It had felt like a long journey, but I didn't care. I was enjoying the amazing sights that the Universe was made of, until I reached an area that was made of complete darkness. I thought I had stopped moving and Time had ceased to exist, until moments later I reached another plane that was composed of nothing but pure white, and somehow I knew that this was the edge of our own Universe.

Now that I am older and with my knowledge filled by the persistent curiosity about Life and the Unknowns, I understood what that childhood experience was and what it meant to me. It becomes a humbling experience when you digest the infinity and the mystery that our reality still holds its secrets from us, waiting for us to open the door and explore much more than what this world can offer.

In our previous article about Astral Projection (using binaural beats), we had discussed in detail about what an O.B.E. is, what the indications are to know that you are achieving it, and what to do and not do during the experience. Today, we shall reveal some helpful guidance on how to further induce the potentials for you to finally experiencing one, should you wish to venture further into this amazing, humbling awakening experience.

First, you should always remember that you will not experience an O.B.E. at once. It takes patience. It takes practice. It takes time. Many have unknowingly experienced it, and because it is an unrecognizable sensation, their automatic reaction would be fear. We strongly advise you to accept with your mind and heart the following things:

  • Be open-minded
  • Do not panic
  • Be patient
  • Relax
Some simple ways to prepare your mind, body, spirit and surroundings for astral projection are:

  • get your daily required intake of water
  • detoxification (physical and emotional)
  • balance the way you think and act (positive and negative)
  • get enough sleep every night
  • make sure that you are in a quiet room and will not be disturbed for at least an hour.
  • always be comfortable
  • practice meditation. Learn how to clear your mind.
If you hold any amount of fear of this unknown territory, but still wish to pursue and try to have an O.B.E., here's what we know about the following:

  • fear of sleep paralysis - more often than not, this is nothing to be scared about. Think of it as just your body falling into deep sleep while your mind is awake. If you get too scared because you can't move, all you have to do is take a fast, big, deep breath. Or you can wiggle your toes or fingers.
  • fear of being controlled by some frightful entity or that you might not wake up anymore. - This is not true. You will always be able to be fully awake from an O.B.E. You will not get trapped in some plane. The "dark" entities that many say they see during an astral projection can be caused by many things. Your imagination manifested your own version of a monster, or they could possibly be other-dimensional beings that we cannot fully recognize.
  • fear of seeing "strange beings" - Our theory on this is that if other dimensional beings truly exist somewhere out there, and when we see one, our brain wouldn't really be able to understand or interpret the frequency of existence that the dimensional being's form holds. Thus, our brain tries to cope and understand it by injecting a more physical form, creating a distortion of an image. Think of it as like a bad television signal reception.
If you would like to feel safer before going into the astral, you can surround yourself with a protective white light. It can be visualized the way you like it. There is no right or wrong with your own protection barrier.

The best times to achieve an Astral Projection:
(This part is very interesting, as I have encountered the experiences in different times of the day.)

  • Before you go to sleep - this will require you to do some "Mind Awake Body Asleep" methods.
  • When you wake up in the middle of the night - you can set your alarm to wake you after 4 hours of sleep. You can then do the "Mind Awake Body Asleep" methods.
  • Afternoon naps - for some reason, when you have an hour-long (between 45-minutes to 1.5 hours) of a nap, your body is heavy and in deep sleep but your mind can be half or fully awake, which is why there have been a lot of recent studies that show quick naps can actually give you a boost of energy and feeling very much recharged.

Here's another helpful tip on how to perform an astral projection.

Are you ready?

Lucid Dreaming with Brainwave Entrainment

Lucid Dreaming shouldn't be confused with Astral Projection. I had come across some articles on the web mixing the two up. Lucid Dreaming simply means that you are lucid in your dream; you KNOW you are dreaming, while Astral Projection is a totally different metaphysical experience. In lucid dreaming, the dreamer feels awake, is aware of dreaming, and is able to control events consciously.

Have you seen Christopher Nolan's film, "Inception"?  That pretty much sums up what Lucid Dreaming is all about.

But in this reality of ours, and not of the world of movies, in order to achieve lucid dreaming, we need to learn and understand the different triggers and methods that one should practice regularly. If you are very interested in starting your Lucid Dreaming Journey, here are a few tips to nudge you to the right direction:

First and foremost, do not be afraid. Igniting fear and putting it forward will just tap into your subconsciousness later on and will manifest itself during your dream experience. This could possibly be the culprit for people who experience sleep paralysis and nightmares.

Have Patience.
High expectations and being impatient and frustrated won't help at all. Patience is a very important factor, and just like anything else that you want to become good at, you need regular practice. Once you start to lucid dream, the feeling upon waking will be ecstatic.

We each go through four stages of sleep, also known as "sleep spindles". Stage One is where your body and mind start to relax and drift in and out of consciousness, while your brain produces natural theta waves. Stage Two is where your body temperature drops and your heart rate begins to slow, while your brain creates a different fast-paced rhythmic pattern. Stage Three is where your brain makes delta waves and slows down your brainwave pattern. It is here where you are no longer conscious of reality and your environment. The Fourth Stage is where most dreams happen, and this is when you will be having REM (Rapid Eye Movement). Your brainwaves become more active again, causing you to dream.

Of course, these sleep patterns and stages will differ from each individual. One person would be able to fall asleep within 5 minutes, while for another it would take maybe an hour before Stage One even happens. This is where you will need to know and understand your sleeping habits and patterns. It is a good advantage to use when you start preparing for your lucid dreaming experience.

Lucid Dream Triggers.
What works for another might not necessarily work for you, too. Some use daily meditation practice to prepare themselves for lucid dreaming. Others would use totem recognition during the day to do reality checks (—yes, the same totem concept as that in the film, "Inception"). Then there are those that use binaural beats and isochronic tones

Sound is such an important element that we perceive in our subconscious mind. Have you ever experienced a noise from your own real-world surroundings that had managed to seep in and materialize (in the same form or not) into that dream you just had seconds ago? Sound is an important element that also connects to lucid dreaming, and there are sound triggers that people use, too.

As mentioned earlier, our brainwave patterns change during the Four Stages of Sleep. Audio tracks with binaural beats and isochronic tones contain the same brainwave sound equivalents (Hertz) that can help to trigger these sleep spindles.

Just like the 8-hour long audio track we have composed, it contains four different sections that each contain various frequency formulas similar to that of the generic sleep stages that are naturally created by our brains.

In the first 2 hours we've used frequencies that range from 3-13Hz (Alpha-Theta range) to help calm your mind and feel deeply relaxed. There is a pleasurable feeling of floating and it will give effects such as stress reduction, relaxed awareness, release of serotonin, and an induction to sleep spindles as your mind and body allows itself into sleep. It also contains triggers for creativity and imagery and access to subconscious images as you doze off.

The second and third sections contain more of the Theta waves, which are also present in dreaming, sleep, deep meditation and creative inspiration. As you have already fallen asleep, the binaural beats tap into your subconsciousness as your mind prepares itself into a lucid dream state. The music is more steady so as not to interrupt your sleep.

The fourth and last section returns itself to the Alpha range with a mix of Theta and Delta. This is where deep sleep occurs and more often than not, the dream state. There is a decreased awareness of the physical world. This section also contains the Earth Resonance or Schumann Resonance, which will leave you feeling revitalized upon waking up.

We also would like to share a very helpful (and simple) How-To article on different methods to do and practice regularly, such as reality checks; the benefits of keeping a dream journal; learning when the best time to have a lucid dream is; and mnemonic induction of lucid dreaming.

Please read more about it HERE.

We hope you'll enjoy our first-ever 8 hour full audio track. Share with us your experiences in the comments section! We'd love to hear from you.

Healing Frequencies: DNA Repair

In the years that we've done extensive research and learning more about binaural beat frequencies and its benefits, one of the most controversial subjects that people have been debating about pertains to the physical healing aspects of vibrational frequencies for the body. Such topics range from DNA Repair to Cell Regeneration and Bone Growth, and for this article, we will tackle on the DNA healing powers through frequencies.

Our body is a wondrous, amazing machine, knitted by these little guys, the DNA, who basically run everything 24/7. They are the real superheroes behind the big, mass of a machine we call the Body, working their way in making up the entirety of who we are, not just physically, but characteristically as well.

They determine who we are, how we think, react, perceive. Ignited within us are the building blocks that cultivate our entire existence. Science, until now, is still in the deep fathoms of learning more about the DNA and how we can, as human beings, harness the hidden powers hidden deep within.

Before we continue, and in lieu with today's synchronicity (if you believe it as much as we do) an article from one of our favorite websites popped up on our feed, which very much related to the topic in-mind that we have right now as we speak. You can go read their article and come back here for the discussion, yes? Play this video in the background as you do so. We promise you, it's going to make you feel real good.

Excerpt from this article:

CAN WE REPROGRAM OUR DNA AND HEAL OURSELVES WITH FREQUENCY, VIBRATION & ENERGY?

"While interesting and inspiring, at least to the imagination, ideas of singing DNA and re-structuring DNA with intentional frequency are certainly difficult to find in practical application and are as of yet lacking legitimate scientific validation. As with Chi, the mapped out essence of life to Chinese medicine, the difficulty in finding verifiable proof and use for these theories is something that has earned this line of thinking the title of new age and pseudo-science.
Science does, however confirm that sound and light can and do directly influence the body’ healing processes."

So, are you back? Yes, good.

There is such a series of frequencies called Solfeggio Frequencies, which are also known as a category of Healing Frequencies. Said to be ancient tones, they are composed of a 6-tone scale thought to have been used in sacred music, including the beautiful Gregorian Chants. Each Solfeggio tone is comprised of a frequency required to balance your energy and keep your body, mind and spirit in perfect harmony.

The main six Solfeggio frequencies are:

396 Hz – Liberating Guilt and Fear
417 Hz – Undoing Situations and Facilitating Change
528 Hz – Transformation and Miracles (DNA Repair)
639 Hz – Connecting/Relationships
741 Hz – Expression/Solutions
852 Hz – Returning to Spiritual Order

So what happens when you listen to these frequencies? Well, it's another series of beautiful physical, emotional and mental stimulations made to restore balance to your natural state of being. Science is still deep within the fathoms of further understanding the correlation of frequency and healing, but for those who understand the benefits of binaural beats and isochronic tones, you'll know that there is a mysterious effect we gain from the sounds that resonate well with us.

Science is still trying to fully understand the mystery behind the fascinating effects that sound and vibration can do to our overall being. It's a similar occurrence when you smell something that triggers a memory.

Here's another shared article about DNA Theta Healing which will show you an extensive explanation of what Theta brainwaves, when stimulated, can do for you, and how you can do your own self-healing sessions.

In another video below, we feature our original music made using the Solfeggio 528 DNA Repair Healing Frequency. Please note that this audio is a pure tone binaural beat, and should be listened to with headphones. The objective of this track is to bring beneficial effects such as an increased amount of life energy, clarity of mind, awareness, awakened or activated creativity, ecstatic states like deep inner peace, dance and celebration. The tone 'Mi' activates your imagination, intention and intuition to operate for your highest and best purpose.

Since we are working on our new Brainwave Smart Pillow, which of these two original music tracks do you think you'd like to have playing as you rest? Let us know in the comments section!

The Benefits of Sleep

Sleep is a naturally recurring state characterized by reduced or absent consciousness, relatively suspended sensory activity, and inactivity of nearly all voluntary muscles. The amount of sleep each person needs depends on a variety of factors, such as age and lifestyle. For most adults, an average of 7 to 8 hours a night is ideal. Taking a nap also reboots your brain and power naps of 10 to 20 minutes can actually boost alertness and energy.

As of 2014, a person's life expectancy is about 79 years, and that means that we spend around 25 years of our lives sleeping. Sleep involves the much needed time for our mind and body to relax and recharge, and it gives us numerous health benefits. Neurological studies have found that the lack of sleep or sleep deprivation can have disastrous effects to the way we think, feel and function. It can cause depression, forgetfulness, diabetes and even heart disease.

Good sound, deep sleep coincides with the release of growth hormone in children and young adults. Many of the body's cells also show increased production and reduced breakdown of proteins during deep sleep. Since proteins are the building blocks needed for cell growth and for repair of damage from factors like stress and ultraviolet rays, deep sleep may truly be "beauty sleep." Activity in parts of the brain that control emotions, decision-making processes, and social interactions is drastically reduced during deep sleep, suggesting that this type of sleep may help people maintain optimal emotional and social functioning while they are awake.

The major benefits we get from good sound sleep are the following:

- improved memory, learning and sharper attention skills
- longer lifespan
- lower risk inflammation linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis and premature aging
- creative simulation
- improvement of physical performance and stamina, such as for athletes
- balanced metabolism and weight mass
- lower stress levels
- better reaction time and decision making
- anti-depression
- higher levels of the immune system

With these in mind, we present to you one of our music tracks created specifically to aid you in getting good, healthy sleep.
