Your Musical Taste Shows And Affects Your Personality And Behavior

Many people regularly talk about how music affects the personality and lifestyle of its listeners, ranging from friendly discussions between parents and their kids, to congress lobbying to ban certain kinds of music or to at least label and restrict them. For the most part, people have dismissed such claims as paranoia at best, and ludicrous at worst, stating that while genres of music may have immediate effects while being listened to, it does not dictate people’s personality and thinking. But as it turns out, recent studies have shown that musical preference may show the listener’s personality, and in turn, affect the personality of a person as well.

A reflection of the mind

One such study from the University of Cambridge showed a method of determining how people think and act based on the music they like to listen to. The study targeted over 4,000 listeners, and used a Facebook personality test app to give the participants a set of questions to determine specific personality traits. After a set period of time, the participants yet again received another questionnaire, this time with 15-second song snippets from 50 songs that represented up to 26 different genres of music, to see how they’d react and what kind of music they’d prefer. The results of both tests were then matched to see if there are patterns and correlations to personalities and music preferences.

As it turned out, there were correlations. Mellow music listeners, like R&B and slow jazz, exhibit more empathy, while rock, hip-hop, and house music listeners are more systematic and structural in thought. In addition, people on the more empathic side preferred music with less energy and focus more on negative and heavy emotions like depression, while the systematic side reveled in positive energy and emotions, like happiness and strength.

Basically, people who prefer slower, more smooth music, are more emotional, while people who prefer faster, more energetic music are more logical and structural, according to the study.
But while music may be a reflection of one’s personality and thinking, can it really affect one’s personality and thinking as well?

Requiem Mass in D Minor, one of the most famous works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
is an example of classical music that can influence behavior.

Music’s influence

Remember how lullabies can make babies (and even adults) fall asleep, and how a school’s theme song in a sporting event can just lift your heart up and get you ready for battle? Those are examples of music affecting one’s emotions. This, we already know. But can music truly, in the long run, affect someone’s personality and behavior?

The answer is YES.

Brainwave entertainment like Brainwave Power Music’s binaural beats and isochronic tones tracks do this regularly. But aside from this, common genres of music are also known to affect the personality regularly, due to their beat, the tones the use, and the overall composition of the pieces of music. And just like the study we talked about above, many studies in the past have also shown this, and have even come up with a list of what certain genres of music do for the person’s mind and personality. Here are a few examples, in addition to the ones listed earlier.

1.)    Ambient noise promotes creativity – while this is not specifically a genre of music, many musical pieces, including binaural beats tracks, have ambient noises. It was discovered that moderate volume ambient noise greatly promotes creative thinking and abstract processing. Too loud however, and the brain is impaired and overwhelmed with the auditory information. Listening to this regularly will greatly improve creativity even without musical assistance.

2.)    Worship music alleviates emotional anxieties – sadness, depression, and a constantly negative personality can be alleviated by worship-music. Studies have shown that people who attend fellowships and engage in the listening and singing of worship music have improved levels of happiness and those with anxiety problems have felt improvements in their own personal feelings, after consistently attending and listening to the songs.

3.)    Rock music improves personal motivation – the high energy pace of rock music is not only preferred by systematic people, as indicated above, it also helps in one’s own personal motivation. Constantly listening to rock music greatly strengthens the listener’s emotional and psychological resolve and can help motivate them on a regular basis. Alternatively, people who prefer other equally energetic genres  like hiphop and dance music can also feel the same motivation, as long as it keeps up with a certain tempo and intensity.

The dark side of this is that lyrics can greatly influence the listener as well. Songs with negative lyrics or messages, when constantly listened to, becomes ingrained in a person’s psyche and can be subconsciously recalled. So it is also important to make sure lyrics are taken into consideration when listening to songs.

One good way to ensure you get the necessary results is to listen to music tracks that are specifically designed to aid your mind and brain, like our binaural beats and isochronic tones tracks. For example, this binaural beats playlist for happiness and love, that we have prepared especially for our fans.

The Heart’s Ocean is a collection of Brainwave Power Music's original music therapy tracks that all relate to the power of the heart, in its deepest emotional or physical or spiritual aspects. The intention in creating these tracks range from desires to self-healing, to self-loving and acceptance, behavioral change and the vast meanings of what Love truly is.

How We Create A Binaural Beats & Isochronic Tones Music Track

We at Brainwave Power Music are dedicated to creating binaural beats tracks that will be of great benefit to anyone who listens to them. Many people often wonder how we make our tracks, and when we get asked this by our family and friends, the first thing we say is that we don’t just make the tracks, we feel them as we create and compose them. We let the inner voice’s influence inspire us in creating these tracks; after all, music needs inspiration to truly be effective, as opposed to simply letting a machine manufacture random tones based on cold computer formulae.
Here is a general idea of how our composers, all of whom are lucid dreamers and followers of the principles of meditation and self-realization, create our tracks that we share to everyone.

1.)    Inspiration – the composer listens from within which kind of track they feel they want to create, whether it’s for meditation, lucid dreaming, astral projection, or health and well-being of the physical, mental, or spiritual nature.

Oftentimes the inspiration comes from what the composers feel, and we encourage that, so as to make the track much more natural and inspired. For instance, a composer may feel the need to deal with depression due to an experience or a memory and create an emotional health track, or feel the need to connect with their faith and create a spiritual health track.

Sometimes, our themes are inspired by the fans’ and supporters’ suggestions, telling us what could help them or what they need to help them go through something they are experiencing in this current reality.

Either way, inspiration plays a huge part in our creation process.

2.)    Frequency mixing – once the composer is inspired and a kind of track is decided upon, the next step involves finding the proper frequency mix using binaural beats and isochronic tones. Each frequency level from the Delta, Beta, Alpha, Gamma brainwave levels that have so far been researched has its own connection to a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual state of a person. You can find out more about brainwave patterns in our previous blog posts.

This is why, while each track is conceptualized through inspiration, it takes great skill and careful thought to actually arrange the track, in order to provide the listener with the right type of targeted results.

3.)    Composing the music – after the beats have been established, the composer creates the music. It starts with finding the base chord key or musical note for each type of beats track.  We at Brainwave Power Music ensure that each music composition is uniquely created, since each is based on that single base chord note. This way, the music will not have dissonant chords that are huge discomforts to such music therapy compositions and their purposes. As well, the music also compliments the binaural beats and isochronic tones, and do not clash when listened to.

4.)    Marrying the two – once both the binaural track and music track are finished, we marry the two in such a way that specific time marks throughout the track will elevate and push the listener into different states of being, but still within the chosen theme-category. All throughout, there will be specially added sound elements, like bells or nature sounds or other ambient sounds that are placed carefully to both enhance the track and keep the listener’s comfort at the desired level. The composer takes great care to make sure that the inspiration given by their inner voice, and their own personal creativity and love, are poured into this track.

This way, the end result is not just a binaural beat or brainwave entertainment sound file. It is a musical creation that is both sound therapy AND music therapy combined.

Once the final composition is finished, it is tested on headphones, surround sound speakers, and other ways of listening to ensure the quality desired goes through.

5.)    Adding the final visual touch – before we release the track on our various platforms, we finish it off by creating a fractal image that compliments the track itself. Specific colors from a color therapy guideline are chosen and used in the fractal image creation, which in itself is meant to evoke various thoughts and emotions at a simple glance. Colors and lines and shapes have their own meanings and influential powers on the human mind, and this is why we also consider this image on the final release.

Once these steps are completed, we release the track on our platforms for everyone to enjoy. The creation process from inspiration to composition to finalization is all done through the inner voice’s influence and the composer’s creativity and spirit, making sure that all elements are reflected in the final track. In addition, the composer keeps the welfare of listeners from all over the world in mind; creativity is not made just for the Self, but mainly for Others. Because that is what Brainwave Power Music is all about: taking care of our listeners.

An example of this is one of our creations, Gentle Vibrations – Stress Relief Relaxation Music With Binaural Beats:

Relieve yourself from stress, tension and anxiety with Gentle Vibrations using Alpha binaural beat frequencies, concentrating on the Earth's Resonance of 7.83Hz, which promotes improvement to stress tolerance. As the alpha waves continue to flow between 8Hz to 12Hz, it will provide you with light relaxation, positive thinking, creative problem solving, mood elevation, stress reduction and leaving you in a very deeply relaxed mindset. With a carrier frequency of 136.1Hz, which is also called the Sun Frequency, this makes the music track also applicable to be used before sleeping or during meditation sessions for overall balance, harmony and centering.

Dreaming With Delta: What Are Delta Waves And What Are Its Benefits?

Brainwave therapy is the main purpose of binaural beats and brainwave entertainment, using specific brainwaves to induce benefits and promote feelings of wellness and mental health. We have previously talked about brainwaves, specifically, what Alpha Waves and Beta Waves are and what are their benefits. Next up, let’s talk about Delta Waves!

What are Delta Waves?

Discovered in the early 1900s by a man named W. Grey Walter, Delta Waves are associated with the very deepest levels of sleep, relaxation, and peace of mind.

Operating at a frequency range of 0-4Hz (the slowest of all the brainwaves), Delta Waves are what cause sleep to be restorative, which allow the person to wake up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It is also important for the healing process –through the release of various hormones during sleep-, and is what controls many of the body’s unconscious functions, like the heartbeat, digestion, breathing, and many other things we don’t often think about, but actually need.  As such, it is also associated with loss of consciousness and physical awareness.

Benefits of Delta Waves

  1. Deep sleep and healing – the main benefit of Delta Waves is allowing the person to get a good night’s sleep, which allows the body to heal itself and rest and revitalize the mind. Without it, a person will wake up feeling lethargic and weak instead of recharged. In some cases, Delta Waves even help slow down the aging process, through the production of hormones like DHEA and melatonin, which affects the skin, bodily functions, and overall well-being. It also helps produce natural human growth hormone by the pituitary gland, which also helps restore the body (and for athletes and people who love to workout, reap the benefits of the day’s efforts), as well as improve the immune system to further protect the body from sickness and illness.
  2. Regular bodily functions – Delta Waves control all of the body’s activities that we are not conscious of. Proper heartbeat, proper kidney functioning, proper liver functioning, proper breathing, proper digestion, etc. Having a good dose of Delta Waves makes sure that everything is in-sync and of good working order. And this is important. Because while we can stop ourselves from tripping over something and avoiding injury, we have no control of how kidneys go and function. So we are relying on our body to simply function well.
  3. Increase in empathy and intuition – a good production of Delta Waves allows the person to care more and empathize more with people, generally leading to being more receptive to their problems and being more willing and fulfilled to help them. It also helps to further accept and understand other people’s emotions, relate to their problems, and think of ways to help. Included in this is an increase in one’s intuition, which in scientific terms is the body’s natural response to certain events or activities. Intuition allows the person to tap into the body’s natural capabilities and the mind’s expectations, thus allowing for better decision making when it comes to “trusting your gut.”

Those are the main benefits of Delta Waves. But like with anything, too much can be a disadvantage as well. Having too much Delta Waves can cause people to lose focus; remember, Delta Waves are associated with relaxation and sleep, so having too much may cause the person to have difficulty retaining information or focusing on the task at hand. This is commonly associated with various learning disabilities and even ADHD in people and kids.
So the solution here is to produce just enough Delta Waves!

How To Get Good Delta Waves

One natural way to regulate your Delta Waves (that is, get a good amount, not too much, not too little) is through meditation. Specifically, deep meditation. While this can be quite a task to do, it is a very good method. We will be discussing different meditation techniques in a separate blog post.

Another is through listening to binaural beats. We have already discussed how binaural beats work, and there are binaural beats tracks for deep sleep using delta waves that you can listen to, like this one!

FOOD REMEDIES AND NATURAL SOLUTIONS TO HELP TREAT YOUR INSOMNIA AND IMPROVE YOUR SLEEPING HABITS

FOOD REMEDIES AND NATURAL SOLUTIONS TO HELP TREAT YOUR INSOMNIA AND IMPROVE YOUR SLEEPING HABITS

Insomnia is the habitual inability to sleep, and there are different types of insomnia known as Short-Term and Chronic, the latter being categorized as having difficulty falling or staying asleep for more than six months. How this is even possible for a person to experience for such a long time is quite mind-blowing, especially for someone who has not experienced Chronic Insomnia. But these sleep deprivations are nothing to laugh about. These can truly become harmful to one's health and the quality of one's life.

Some causes of insomnia are rooted to stress and anxiety, unhealthy daily diets and too much caffeine, nicotine and alcohol— although this is supposed to be a sedative— can actually prevent you from getting to the deeper stages of sleep. Forced change in sleeping patterns for long periods of time eventually mess up your body clock, while emotional and/or physical discomfort, and even environmental factors can also interfere with sleep. But take note that insomnia also becomes common as you get older, and lack of activity can affect a good, sound sleep.

The main ingredient that one needs to improve one's sleep and treat insomnia is the hormone called Melatonin, which is produced by the pineal gland and regulates the body's circadian rhythms or the sleep-wake cycle. It naturally increases the feelings of sleepiness and is relaxation. Then there is, what they call the "Magic Trio" for sleep boosters. These are magnesium, potassium and tryptophan.

There are certain types of food and other natural remedies that can help treat insomnia:

1. Almonds or Almond Milk - these are excellent sources of magnesium. It is a natural muscle relaxant and has stress-relieving properties.

2. Cherries - provides a significant amount of raise melatonin content and improves sleep quality and efficiency.

3. Bananas - Yes, we know that these are also promoted as natural energy boosters, but they also contain lots of magnesium, tryptophan and potassium, which gives the effects of feeling sleepy.
4. Valerian (root) - in tea form or herbal extract medicine, this plant is a natural sedative used even during the Ancient Roman or Grecian eras.

5. Oatmeal and other whole grains - breakfast food always gives warm, fuzzy feelings when taken during dinner time, and oatmeal is high in magnesium and potassium. Carbohydrates also increases the production of serotonin which also slows the nerve activity and gives the effects of calming our brains.

6. Red meat and Iron-Rich Food - another cause for insomnia could be anemia or iron deficiency. Have some lean red meat and less saturated fat for lunch instead of dinner.

7. Turkey - It is rich in tryptophan, which is an amino acid our body uses to produce serotonin.

8. Honey with Warm Milk - This stimulates insulin that allows more tryptophan to enter the brain.

9. Chamomile Tea - A nice warm cup of this can be very relaxing and if taken right before you go to bed, it could help you fall asleep. It is also anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial.

10. Lavender - Relaxing, calming and encourages sleep. This has been used in various forms such as oils, shampoo, body soap, aromatherapy candles and incense.

11. Sleep Inducing Music Therapy with Binaural Beats - Changing your state of mind using binaural beats to induce sleepiness can also be achieved. The scientific approach to this is with the use of brainwave frequencies that trigger sleep aids. Scientific research says that when we sleep, our brainwaves are in the Delta range, and using programs to simulate the binaural beat frequencies that are in this range can help you feel more relaxed, drowsy, and help your mind and body get into the zone, ready for a good, sound sleep.

All you need to do is play your preferred binaural beat (tracks with music accompaniments have been much favorable and tolerable for many people as compared to the pure tone versions) as you lie down, ready for bed. Let the audio take over your busy thoughts and just focus on the music or tones. You will eventually fall asleep while the audio plays.

Our recommendation is to always have the volume level at a comfortable low.

Below is one of our Sleep Aid videos that continua frequencies to help treat insomnia.

How Do You Dispel Negative Energy From Other People?

How Do You Dispel Negative Energy From Other People?
- Some Quick Tips to Protect Yourself -

Are you an emotionally sensitive person? An empath perhaps?

For those people who are extremely sensitive and who can be highly emotional may want to place protective rainbow layers around themselves, because empaths are likely to experience the world through the metaphysical receptors of their hearts, which can be challenging and emotionally heavy or painful; picking up and absorbing energy everywhere they go, which is why it is very essential for them to have strong boundaries of protection. It is absolutely important for those who are empathic to envision a positive energy at all times as a psychic shield.

Most people want to attain a state of mind in which we control our own emotions. This is what we call, emotional freedom. Sometimes we feel negative emotions such as anger, fear, depression, etc. From an active outlook, these can originate from several sources. What you are feeling may be your own, or it may be from someone else's or a combination. These are a type of energy that can be transferred from one person to another and you can possibly get these energies without noticing it.

To disengage yourself from unwanted negative emotions, here are some strategies that you could apply:

  • First, ask yourself: Is the sudden change in emotion mine or from others? It could be both. Try to locate the source of that feeling. For instance, you went to a concert, you were loud and happy yet you came home feeling sad and blue. Could be exhaustion brought by the high-energy felt from the concert or you may have picked up the low-energy of the people beside you. It's quite intriguing how our energy fields connects with everything around us.

  • Distance yourself from the alleged source. Change course at least twenty feet away and for a few minutes, assess yourself if you are already okay. In a public place, don’t hesitate to change place if you are not comfortable with the people near you.

  • For a few minutes, focus yourself by absorbing on your breath that connects your inner peace. Keep exhaling negativity and inhale serenely with calmness. This helps you relieve and get rid of fear or other difficult emotions.

  • Practice loving-kindness meditation to release stress. It’s comforting and builds a sense of safety and cheerfulness.

  • Protect yourself.  Block those negativities or physical discomfort but allow those positive emotions to flow through you.

  • Be attached to those people with positive outlook and handle such situations positively. Call a friend that has a good influence in you. Spend time with a colleague who upholds positivity. Listen to optimistic people. Hope is contagious and it will boost your mood.

  • Take a cold shower and visualize the water washing away those negative energies. This is another form of energy cleansing.

  •  Meditate regularly.

Meditation can also be very helpful for getting focused within yourself and getting to know what is going on within you. The most interesting thing about evolving and improving empathic abilities is learning to distinguish between what feelings, sensations and emotions are yours, and what belongs to someone or something else.

Follow these strategies and make it a habit. It will help you to understand that everything takes time and you have to keep going. It’s natural to encounter problems in the beginning, but these difficulties will make you a more positive person as you move forward.

A SELF-HEALING TOOL: Can Meditation Aid Recovery?

A SELF-HEALING TOOL:
Can Meditation Aid Recovery?

There is a widespread belief that cancer is caused by deviant mental processes. An outcome of this belief is that cancer may be cured by the application of the mind. Cancer is no stranger to the list of common health concerns present in today’s society.

There are more than 100 types of cancer in the world and many different treatments for each. The most common medical therapies are Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy and Targeted Therapies. Although conventional methods have proved to be relatively successful, they do come at a price. Symptoms such as fatigue, hair loss and breathlessness are just some of the unpleasant manifestations that follow after treatment.

Fear, anxiety and depression are common during recovery. But instead of popping a pill, could practicing a few minutes of mindfulness a day be as effective as any drug?  In modern era, alternative therapies such as yoga and meditation have taken off. As more positive research unfolds, so does ones openness to embrace another way of healing the body -through the mind itself.

Thousands of years passed until meditation finally made advancement into society. Researchers began to look into the various effects of the practice. It quickly became apparent that there was far more to gain from meditation than just a sense of spirituality. Studies show that the physical and mental effects of mediation can be very helpful.

Mindfulness allows us to step back from our thoughts and feelings and view them with a different perspective. It would be very easy to get caught up in negative thinking or feelings of anxiety and depression. But mindfulness gave an enough space to be able to embrace these emotions without getting lost. In mindful meditation, individuals are taught not to focus their attention in a singular way, but rather to be aware of any and all thoughts, feelings, sounds and images that may pass through their mind. Letting them pass through your mind, as opposed to trying to hold on to any one of them.

You need to trust your own power to self-heal. You have an integrate power to heal to your fullest potential. Don't be passive. Take control of your own healing journey. The way to support your body's instinctive ability to self-heal was through mind-body therapies, diet, purification techniques, meditation, a spiritual discipline, movement, and daily practice. By supporting your body’s own healing abilities, it was ultimately able to heal and function at its full potential. When your body was in a serious state of breakdown, it required a level of single-minded focus and hard work incomparable by anything you had ever before attempted. You may also read ancient and modern texts on yoga, explored yoga postures, fasted, did visualization, performed physical purifications, and much more. Don’t let low-value people and activities or outside pressure discourage you from your mission to heal.

As the results, alternative therapies have been proven over thousands of years to reduce anxiety and stress by calming the body, and helping the individual to feel more relaxed. There is no doubt that this practice can significantly improve one’s sense of well-being during such a traumatic time.

Although this practice derives from a religious background, you do not need to be religious to learn meditation. Whether you are seeking spirituality, clarity, or simply relaxation, with a little practice, anyone can learn and benefit from it. The purer your life, the more vibrant your health will be.

To calm your thoughts and mind, try our Binaural Beat Meditation & Self-Healing (Advanced Awareness) video.

DREAM RECALL: Boost Your Memory Techniques

 Visit Our Website

DREAM RECALL:
Boost Your Memory Techniques

Making a consistent effort to recall and record your dreams will help your waking mind to associate itself more closely with your dream experience. It's also an excellent way to increase imagination, creative and intuitive capabilities which are all intimately connected with dreams. Dreaming is absolutely essential when it comes to maintaining a healthy mind. The thing is that some people remember their dreams, while others do not. The reason that some individuals do not seem to remember their dreams can be explained by the fact that during the sequence of a typical night, we all go through a cycle of different levels of sleep.

According to Sigmund Freud, a well-known psychologist puts forward the theory that dreaming was the minds way of dealing with emotions, desires, and feelings, that the conscious mind would have a considerable amount of difficulty dealing with in any other way. These emotions are sometimes completely suppressed by the individual’s conscious mind and thus exist only in the unconscious mind. This is what we call dreams, where they appear in a disguise form.

How to better remember your dreams? Here are some helpful techniques in helping your dream recall:

KEEP A CLEAR MIND. It is important to stay positive about being able to remember your dreams. Having too many thoughts on your mind can distract you from remembering your dream in the morning. Tell yourself that "I will recall my dream when I wake up". This is a proven technique to help dream recall. Simply by motivating yourself to remember your dreams will actually help you to better remember your dreams.

FOCUS AND ATTENTION. You need to understand that dream recall is an inherent, natural human trait. That is why young children are usually in touch with dreams, as are some native cultures who share their dreams with each other daily. Dream recall is a bit like a mental muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it becomes. Without exercise it may shrink, but it is there if you decide to work it out again. So if your recall is poor, trust that it will come in time, and the trust alone will actually help.

AVOID ALCOHOL INTAKE. Taking medication before going to bed or eating fatty foods too close to bedtime as these things can hinder you from remembering your dream.

BEDTIME HABIT. Before going to sleep, review your dreams from the previous nights. This allows you to begin to connect with your dream memory, and is also an opportunity to interpret your dreams and spot connections to the day's events. Suggest to yourself that you will spontaneously awaken when you need to without using an alarm clock, since it can inhibit recall. This method works well with practice, but you may initially wish to set your alarm for 15 minutes after your suggested wake-up time, just to be safe. Any time you awaken, keep your eyes closed and do not moved. If you moved since waking, return to your earlier body position. Gather as many images, feelings or impressions as you can, then rise and keep a pencil/notebook or tape recorder next to your bed so that it will be within reach as soon as you wake up. You want to make recording your dreams as easy a task as possible. Having a small lamp by your bedside is also a good idea should you wake up in the middle of the night and want to record your dream immediately. You'll be surprised at how much more you can remember as you write. This is a challenge to yourself that requires a little more dedication but has it's pay-offs since it gives your waking and dreaming states of mind more opportunity to overlap, and hence triggers better dream recall.

DRAW A PICTURE. A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes. Even if you are not an artist a simple drawing can help to remind details of your dream.

MEDITATE. During the first few weeks of focusing on increasing your recall, take a quiet/meditative moment and imagine your dream journal's pages filled with many written down dreams, and even accompanying drawings, images, and other notes that you've added about them. See this as clearly as you can in your mind and make sure to feel pleased that your dream recall is very good and still growing even better.

SHARE YOUR DREAMS. A weekly study group with a shared interest in dreams is unmatchable for sustained motivation and inspiration. Learn to share your dreams and talk about them with others, no matter how apparently insignificant. The more often you acknowledge your dreams and bring them into "reality", the easier it will be to remember them.

Increase the number of dreams you can remember by waking up more often in the night. We have several (Rapid Eye Movement) REM cycles in the night, and they get longer and longer toward morning. If you only record the last dream you had before you get up in the morning, there are more dreams you might not be remembering.

Many people believe that dreams can provide insights into our lives and feelings, but the trouble is, they're notoriously difficult to remember. With conscious effort you can remember more of your dreams and recall them in greater detail.

Develop an exciting lucid night life and use it to improve your waking world with our Sleep Induction and Lucid Dreaming Binaural Beats-Memorable Vivid Dreams video.

Transformation to Wholeness of Self-Being through Sound Therapy

"Everything is consciousness."
-- DR. FRED WOLF

More than 200 years, researchers have been validating the connections of sound and vibrations on physical form. According to experts, sound waves generate visible structures.

During profound peaceful states of the mind, which are naturally achieved during meditative phases, the body’s natural healing process is profoundly supported. The sound and resulting vibrations generated by the gongs and singing bowls stimulate the theta brain frequencies that are commonly associated with deeper states of meditation. Heart and respiratory rates slow down, creating a favorable healing effect upon the body’s entire system. During a gong session stress is being released and a restoration of the body’s natural equilibrium is made possible.

Solfeggio frequencies, isochronic and binaural tones are some motivating ways to escape from self-destruction. Vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through our bones and our skin, basically through every cell in our bodies. Sound & music are nutrients for the nervous system. The auditory mechanism is a mega-portal to the brain and sonic tools empower health, learning and productivity.

Solfeggio Frequencies. Every vibration has its own frequency. By exposing the mind and body to the Solfeggio frequencies, you can easily reach greater sense of balance and deep healing. Through this, it will align you with the rhythms and tones that form the basis of the Universe. This is proven effective in turning grief to joy, undoing situations and facilitating change, repairing DNA, connecting with spiritual family and understanding relationships, becoming more expressive to solve problem situations, and finally, awakening intuition to return to spiritual order.

Isochronic Tones encourage brainwave frequencies to fall into step with a frequency corresponding to the intended brain-state. Isochronic tones work by emitting sound at regular intervals. This excites the thalamus and causes the brain to duplicate the frequency of the Isochronic tones, changing its thought patterns. This pattern cannot be missed from the brain as this can happen in some cases with binaural beats. The imprint that isochronics leave to the brain is very clear and strong. This technology can alter your brainwaves very fast, faster than binaural beats. Isochronic brainwave entrainment is suggested as a fast way to change your mind’s operation.

Binaural Tones. Introducing a binaural beat will cause the brain to begin resonating in tune with that beat. This is becoming one of the most popular tools for personal and spiritual development, reaching altered states of consciousness, and having experiences that are out of this world. SOUND THERAPY: Taking a Holistic Approach to Life

Most ancient civilizations used the powerful benefit of sound and vibration. They composed music based on the perfect mathematical proportions that can be found in the construction of many sacred temples, space and time. You can tune yourself to the perfect rhythm by opening your inner ear to the healing music. It also cures sicknesses. In Egypt, when priests sing hymns to the Gods they sing the seven vowels in due succession and the sound has such euphony that men listen to it instead of the flute and the lyre. The Egyptians believed that vowel sounds were sacred, so much so that their written hieroglyphic language contains no vowels. We can, therefore, assume that vowel sound mantra carried a powerful connotation for their priests.

In modern times, we are aware that the hypotenuse of such a triangle is a vital concept relating directly to the question of harmony. And anything we say about harmony is associated first and foremost with sound. This innate frequency can be therapeutic. It is so called sound therapy. It can be described as the frequency of vibration that is most natural to a specific organ or system such as the heart, liver or lungs. All cells radiate sound as a consequence of their metabolic processes. There is an interaction between the cells own sounds and those imposed by the environment, including those applied by sound healing devices.
High frequency sounds trigger the brain and affect cognitive functions such as thinking, spatial perception and memory. Listening to these sounds increases our attentiveness and concentration.

Sound can set a mood. In other words, some sounds simply make us feel better than others. Whether our conscious minds are paying attention or not, our bodies take their cues from these sounds and rhythms, knowing when to get energized and when to slow down. According to research, sound can also help us reduce stress, create a deep sense of well-being and even promote healing.

Holistic medicine nurtures a cooperative relationship among all those involved, leading towards optimal attainment of the physical, mental emotional, social and spiritual aspects of health. Taking a holistic approach involves seeking the tools that will help us attract our desires and find personal power.

Sound therapy is definitely the cutting edge of healing like yoga and meditation. The fact is, we are already using sound therapy in our life. So even if you’re not interested in spending in a singing bowl, sound healing is still available to you. Go for a walk and enjoy nature’s own healing harmonies or better yet close your eyes, relax and listen to this amazing binaural beat pure tone from us.
